While helping a customer recently I discovered a scenario in which Revit would not export its grid to IFC even though the Options were set correctly. This tip will show you what you can do to accomplish this.
The customer was using Tekla BIMSight to verify that the grid was visible in the IFC file, so we’ll be using it in this video too. Also, to protect the customer’s information the Revit model has been replaced with an in-place generic family.
