AutoCAD®, with hotkeys and keyboard command entry, yields faster productivity when one hand drives the mouse, and the other performs keyboard shortcuts/quick keys for launching commands or entering numerical data values. If your “keyboard” hand is ever injured or otherwise impaired and keyboard entry is no longer possible or, at best, is severely diminished… this simple workflow can allow you to invoke numerical entries for commands by using icons/toolbars/tool palettes. This workflow can be helpful in any version of AutoCAD from 2023 to as far back as 2014.
