A Platform You Know, with a Name You Don’t—Yet
As of March 24, 2026, Autodesk Construction Cloud® (ACC) begins its transition into Autodesk Forma®. For many users across engineering, construction, and operations, this change may feel cosmetic at first glance—but it signals a broader shift toward a more unified platform experience.

If you spend your day in Docs, Build, or coordinating models and issues, the most important takeaway is simple: your workflows are not being disrupted. Instead, Autodesk is aligning its ecosystem under a single platform identity.
What You’ll Notice Right Away
The most immediate change is visual. The ACC logo at the top of the interface is replaced with Forma branding, setting the tone for the rest of the experience.

One of the more notable changes is the renaming of the Account Admin module to Hub Admin, aligning terminology with Autodesk’s platform structure.

Similarly, Autodesk Docs is being renamed to Data Management, reinforcing its role as the backbone of project information.

Subtle Changes That Still Matter
Project icons are being standardized, continuing to distinguish between BIM 360 and ACC projects within the Forma identity.

Mobile users will also see updates, as the Autodesk Construction Cloud app is renamed to Forma across app stores.

What’s Staying the Same (And Why That Matters)
URLs, login processes, and API endpoints remain unchanged, ensuring integrations and automations continue to function.
Email and notification domains may shift from 'acc' to 'forma', which IT teams should account for in filtering and security policies.

Why This Change Is Bigger Than Branding
The move to Forma reflects Autodesk’s long-term vision of unifying design, planning, and construction workflows.
While the transition is smooth for users, it lays the foundation for deeper integration across the project lifecycle.
Final Thoughts
For engineers, project managers, and administrators, the Forma transition is less about learning something new and more about recognizing what’s being streamlined. The tools you rely on aren’t going away—they’re being repositioned within a broader ecosystem.
As with any platform evolution, the best approach is awareness. Know what’s changing, understand what isn’t, and take a moment to align your internal teams—especially IT and support staff—with the updated terminology and branding.

Because while the name on the screen may change, the work you do with it continues uninterrupted.
