The Accruent Meridian on-premise version uses Windows DCOM (Distributed Components Object Model) to communicate between the client, server(s), and the Meridian application services. Microsoft has recently introduced critical security DCOM authentication changes scheduled to go into effect starting March 14, 2023.  These updates, if not addressed, will have critical negative impacts on existing Meridian systems that may include limited functionality or full system outages.

Please get in touch with your local Hagerman account manager for more information related to the DCOM updates and their impact on your existing Meridian system.   A technical review of your Meridian environment can be performed to develop a plan to prevent any negative results of the Microsoft updates.
